My Digital Life Grows Up: Social Media for Social Good

Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure Detroit

Friends:  I am running in the Detroit Race for the Cure 5K on Saturday, May 26th on my birthday in memory/honor of several very dear loved ones: Andria Hall, Tamika Evans Whitmore and Dawn Spencer.
I am fundraising for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Detroit.

The goal is to raise awareness and money to fight breast cancer.

I also want to mention the two foundations that my friends started. Dawn founded the Augme Foundation and Andria the Speakeasy Media Foundation.
My goal is to raise $1,052. The 21st annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure is Saturday, May 26, on the grounds of Comerica Park in downtown Detroit. It is sponsored by the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute.

I will be 52 that day. Praise God for His mercy.

If you'd like to support me in my efforts to raise money for this cause to end breast cancer,  please make a donation using this FirstGiving site I created. (Or, if you'd prefer, you can donate directly using this link: http://www.karmanos.org/app.asp?id=1000&ssec= .

If you're not sure how much to give, may I suggest $5 or $10 per kilometer? I am doing 5k.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!

God bless you,
Pam Perry
